Survivors,
As we get closer to announcing the launch of Phase 2 of Rooted's Alpha, we've been adding key features and content over the past few weeks, such as the Open World, the Alpha Car, the building system (with unlimited resources for now), and among others I'll present later: the DRONE!
A true ally in your survival experience in Rooted, the drone allows you to explore inaccessible or contaminated areas that require heavy protection. It also lets you place markers in the environment to identify your next destination, which can be seen by your teammates as well.
During this Alpha phase, and for the next few builds, piloting the drone won’t be too punishing! Take advantage of this time to perfect your piloting skills, give us your feedback, and help us make the experience even better!
To find the drone, I encourage you to check out the Alpha Tester Guide, accessible from the menu (TAB key). This guide is a valuable resource for all alpha testers, QA, and Rooted partners, especially while we work on a tutorial that will be available later in development.
