Hi Survivors!
A few words about the new update, already available on the Alpha build.
Firearms
We are excited to introduce firearms in this update as a first step toward the upcoming hunting features. It is the perfect opportunity to add some combat gameplay, and for now you can try this first version by testing the weapons with other players in the same session.
The M4A1 and the Glock are now available, and you can easily pick them up in your new spawn location when starting a fresh game.
We also spent time refining the player’s behavior while holding a weapon so animations and movement feel more natural. Today we’re starting with two weapons, and in the near future more will be added along with full support for weapon attachments.
To help you try everything out safely, a dedicated training range has been added right next to the Mansion. It is fully set up for target practice so you can test handling, recoil, and accuracy before heading into the wild.
Cheat Menu (spoiler warning!)
A Cheat Menu is now available by pressing F10, allowing you to:
- teleport to various points of interest
- use vehicles
- give yourself items in your inventory
At this early stage of the alpha, the goal of this menu is to give you quick access to the content so you can get a clearer idea of the game's progress. With animals and the upcoming hunting, fishing, gardening features and violent weather systems, this menu will later be removed so you can fully experience the real post apocalyptic survival journey.
