The wait is over: Rooted Alpha 2 is officially here! This major update brings significant advancements to the game, offering players a richer, more immersive survival experience.

What’s New in Alpha 2?

• Expanded Open World: Explore over 30km2 of terrain, including new Points of Interest (POIs) such as the Mansion, Monastery, Gas Station, and Bunker. Each location features its own atmosphere, rich with lore and challenges.
• Survival Gameplay Enhancements: Build and craft your own shelters and tools, manage infection risks, and adapt to dynamic weather conditions that impact survival.
• Fun Mechanics: Take advantage of ziplines, drones, carts, and forklifts to navigate and interact with the world in unique ways.

But that’s not all! Phase 3 of the Alpha is already in development! This upcoming phase will introduce exciting new gameplay systems, including hunting, fishing, and gardening, alongside refinements to existing mechanics. These additions will continue to enhance the depth and variety of the Rooted experience.
